Did anyone actually read the article, nice to take the giant leap that they robbed the house to get a gun but no one actually has verified that was the case, don't let lack of facts stop you, "what could have happened" seems to be the favorite among gun owners.

Already been stated but I thought guns were supposed to scare people away, time to get rid of you guns if they arfe coming after you.

Below is NYS Sen. Greg Ball’s press release. Even if this story is proven to have nothing to do with the gun map, it is an example of “what could be,” Senator Ball points out.

I am more concerned for the women who own firearms and have restraining orders against their former boyfriends or husbands. The Journal has literally put their lives in danger.

More importantly, why is this information public? Vehicle registration is not public. Driver's license information is not public. Voter registration is not public. Medical information is not public. Financial information is not public. There is a lot of information the government has on individuals that is not public. What nimrod thought it would be a good idea to make private firearm ownership information public?

didnt you know? liberals care more about the criminals than they do about the victims. why do you think they support gun control laws, gun control laws do not do anything to criminals, bt they do take legal firearms out of the hands of victims and the law abiding.

Well, that just goes to prove that owning a gun, doesn't deter crime. We can put that silly argument to rest now, and get on with gun control.

If they have a gun, the burglar robbed due to the map
If they don't have a gun, the burglar robbed due to the map.

...Did robberies increase or decrease since publishing?

That's what i want to know.

Get rid of the "permit" and you solve the problem....

In most of America we dont ask permission to own guns and in some states registration is illegal...

NY law also requires you to retreat when your house is burglarized doesn't it?

So you are telling us owning a gun didn't get the intruder shot? hmmm and I thought gun ownership was the solution.
