Robert Kennedy was Attorney General from the day his brother was killed, he resigned 9 months later. During that period he held control over the vast investigative powers of the United States. Even after his resignation Kennedy as a U.S. Senator had both the power and influence to present evidence that would have contradicted the Warren Commission. He presented none from that time until his own death.
Robert Kennedy was a crook and a thug who had ongoing exposure problems of his own to worry about, on any number of matters.
The U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations concluded in 1979 that the JFK assassination was probably the result of a conspiracy.
There is no need, of course, to prove or assume a second gunman to infer a conspiracy, although the two issues are often conflated.
Its like, well duhhh, of course Oswald didn't act alone. If the miracle bullet theory wasn't bad enough you had Ruby conveniently offing him.
Nowadays they just slip some radioactive or toxic goop in your food and you get cancer or they stage your suicide or off you in private.
Its good theres still a Kennedy or two left that has some brain cells and a litlte backbone.

Yeah, Ruby, a small time hood, hears about the shooting and, in a sudden burst of irrational patriotism, decides to take action. He drive his car to police headquarters, parks, is not stopped or questioned, opens a door that just happens to be unlocked and unguarded at the exact same moment Oswald is being led - totally surrounded by guards except right there where the door is! I have a bridge for sale to anyone who believes this.
Great book - Best Evidence by David Lifton. Amazing reading.
I consider my opinion to be just as valid - i.e. I have no reason to not believe the Warren Commission finding, and think Oswald most likely acted alone.
Who cares about your opinion either?
It was because those nice Kennedys were mixed up with the mob since the prohibition days and JFK pissed off the Syndicate in a nutshell
Figures you would believe the commissions little bedtime story
Oswald was not capable of making the shot... He was a former marine corps marksman.. A marksman is the lowest you can qualify at the range as. THe weapon he allegedly used was a innaccurate piece of crap. No way he made the shot from that window with that rifle... I don't know what happened but I don't buy the Warren commission report.
Truth can be stranger than fiction sometimes. So strange that many will not want to believe it.
There have been no contradictions or disputes from any member of the Warren Commission in the past 50 years.
Kennedy had become a National Security threat.
His lack of action in the Bay of Pigs, allowed a communist base to be established in Cuba. His handling of the Cuban Missile Crisis almost caused nuclear war and he traded our forward missile bases in Turkey for the removal of missiles in Cuba.
The Russian's and Chinese viewed him as weak and were ramping up their expansionist programs in Eastern Europe, Asia, and South America. He was reluctant to become involved in Viet Nam which encouraged the Communist Block to expand their operations into Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, and Thailand.
It was under his administration when the Berlin Wall was begun and the communists predicted that Kennedy's response to their provocation would be weak. They were right.
Kennedy became president at a time when Communism seemed to be gaining ground. The Soviet Union had taken the lead in space exploration, had developed missiles that made the United States vulnerable to nuclear attack, and was using more belligerent rhetoric. Communism and revolution were on the rise.
Kennedy was the wrong president at the wrong time. The military knew it, the CIA knew it, and LBJ knew it. There had to be a coup.
The American public had used poor judgment in electing a president based on appearance rather than on substance, and the decision had to be overturned. Furthermore it was now clear that due to the influence of television, the American people could not be trusted any longer to make the critical decisions about the countries policies and future.
America changed after the assassination, and although few could put their finger on what exactly had changed, they could feel that things from that point on would never be the same.
