But, did your health insurance premiums go up (what is paid in your behalf for the coverage, INCLUDING your contributions), or did your employer decide to make your share larger and shrink its share? Companies have been doing that for a LONG time.

Keep parroting. Its all you've got.
Yep the truth is all i got

Wait till all those young people who voted for Obama when they have to pay for health insurance in 2014 when Obamacare mandate kicks in and can't afford their car payment and insurance anymore.

Plus if they opt out with a fine that fine will be raised each year into the thousands of dollars for one individual who does not pay but will pay the hefty fine.

Until 2014, THIS young person would not have had access to health insurance outside of what my employer offers. If I could not find a job with health insurance benefits, then the taxpayer would be on the hook for all of my cancer treatments because I never would have been able to pay it on my own. Much rather force everyone into the system (or even better, raise taxes and offer universal healthcare like every other civilized nation) than see people not have access to health insurance because of preexisting conditions (in my case, was denied coverage at 22 years old and was uninsured 4 months before my Stage IV cancer diagnosis or think that because they have been healthy their entire lives, they don't need health insurance only to be hit with a major illness or be involved in an accident.

yeah, no.

I work in the "industry" and the answer is NO. I think the Obama Surcharge is less than 10%

My guess, you work for a smaller employer. They had a significant sick event maybe a co-worker. It impacted your pool rate, and thus jumped the premium rate.

OR

Your old plan was really horrible. Had a low out of pocket max (which wouldn't helped it if you got sick), didn't cover kids, or something crazy.

Our premium costs declined in 2013.
Same group plan. Same carrier. Same coverage.

Go figure.

I think the OP is merely ignorant of facts. Lying would require knowledge of facts, not an utter misunderstanding of what entails someone's health insurance premiums under a group plan.
