I seriously want to understand why you feel it's necessary to ban guns. I won't bait this thread with statistics, but I truly want to know what you think will be accomplished with gun bans. You really don't think criminals will turn in their guns do you?

I think you are asking the wrong question. I don't many on the left want to ban guns. Most want simple regulations like mandatory background checks at gun shows. How this becomes banning guns I don't know.

It must be wonderful to think you know why a person asks a question and tell them what their question should be. Raise yourself higher then everyone else. WOW!

No one wants you to bomb buildings, so they put metal detectors and guards at the entrances. No one wants you to blow up planes, so they appoint idiot guards at airports to search children and old people. No one wants you to plot against the government so they monitor your emails and phones. Right, it's all done to protect you, not take away your freedoms.

It's probably easier to answer you question if you asked the right question. Nobody is coming for you guns! Why so paranoid?
