The Interior Secretary's $220,000 Bathroom | ABC News - Yahoo! News

"The personal bathroom used by the secretary of the Interior is so swanky that its renovation cost $220,000."

"The renovation was done in 2007 under President George W. Bush's Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne,"

I have a feeling that the combined value of ALL the bathrooms in my house doesn't even come close to the cost of this one. Not even if I added a few refrigerators in each....

It just their rhetoric that they are fiscal conservatives and I am talking about the leaders and partisan followers. I lean right and consider myself fiscal conservative. But when I was against the gvt spending 20 million on the armed forces to advertise at NASCAR events the partisans attacked me like I was a CD liberal. And had the audacity to type " it's only 20 million.

Same as discontinuing a engine being produced in Boners district that the Pentagon did not want. They had the audacity to write " but it creates jobs" Same excuse was used on closing the worthless AFB in Mansfield.

Do not fall for the leaders and partisans rhetoric about being fiscal conservatives. They would not know one if one smacked in the face. And that is truth.

Republicans vs. Democrats- just different sides of same coin.

Fiscal conservative is a meaningless string of words as it applies to elected conservative American officials.

Fiscal conservative in practice means running huge budget deficits, running up the national debt, cutting taxes for the wealthy, and ruthlessly targeting cuts to programs that help Americans that conservative voters hate.

Again, when you hear a Republican say "fiscal conservative," let it go in one ear and out the other. They have no track record whatsoever to make such claims,
