You know, ten years from now well all still be here and right as rain, and I really wonder what the tin-foil hat types will say then. Of course they'll call me naive now, but its really because some of they fantasize about getting a chance to break out their basement arsenal for some end-of-days scenario. What scares me is that some are chomping at the bit to get that chance. Some WANT this hilarious characterization of the current administration as some evil tryanny to persist so they can nurse some 1775 pipe dream and form their own Red Dawn style militia. I have bad news...bad things will happen (they always do), but America will still be here, as will most of us. I though Bush 43 was an abomination on our nation (technically he did not have the all-encompassing political power to be considered a tyrant, because I know what words mean), so you know what I did? I VOTED.

THis admin. has just been a little more radical about things than others, but the goal of the Government and Global elite has been the same for quite some time.

This is a pretty centrist administration. Sometimes it seems more radical when it comes from the party you don't support.

For Republican sheep:

Obama urges new restrictions on assault weapons, magazines as part of gun control plan | Fox News

In other words, Barack Obama's actions today were a full throttle acknowledgement that he doesn't have the Executive Power necessary to ban a specific weapon. It would never survive a court challenge because of the 2nd Amendment. Therefore he is URGING Congress to do it for him. The good news is, that won't happen.

No loopholes in the wording of the 2nd amendment otherwise he would have jumped on them like he did with amnesty and invading Libya.

My guns haven't killed any of your children... or anybody for that matter. Tens of Millions of other gun owners can say that too. Grow up.

I've lived in Australia, where gun homicides are more rare than getting hit by lightning (literally - in 2010, gun homicides = 30, humans hit by lightning = 100+).

Yet people still wake up in the morning, breathe fresh air, speak freely, have their health taken care of for their entire lives, until they leave this life in peace.

Sounds oppressive and horrible, doesn't it?!?

No, it doesn't.
Great post! USA can only dream of this kind of quality of life.

Yep. Both the Patriot Act and Obama's gun control laws limit freedom. Patriot Act hasn't been effective and neither will Obama's gun laws. Both will and have screwed over the law-abiding citizens.
