OK. Lets say I am a cop and someone keeps going on the airways blasting about how evil cops are. Then one of their followers kills me,shouldnt my family be able to let a jury decide if thier hate filled speech put my life in jeapordy?
You could tell me that a million times, but I wouldn't ever kill anyone because of it.
What your doing is using the law to shut people up you don't like. The first amendment does not only allow you to your view point. If I don't like Jews I have every right to say so. I do not have the right to act on my hate. I can not shoot any Jews under the first amendment. I can not deny renting my condo to a Jew because he is a Jew. I can fly a Nazi flag and tattoo SS on my for head and say they all belong in ovens. You and most other people have the right to think thats crazy and hateful but I have every right to do it. Just as the Neo Nazis marched in Skokie ILL. Or won the right to, they decided not to after they won in court. You can say I hate blacks but you can't not serve them in your store.
So no you can't take them to court because you think they hate. And most of them you don't agree with and I also do not agree with walk a line that is close but not even over the hate line. When Limbaugh talks about gays, he never says they don't have the right to breath or life its always marriage and the like. Even those who say they are doomed by god bla bla bla are not saying they are going to go out and kill or beat, or telling others to go out and kill or beat so they are well behind any line of hate to action.

No you can't make someone responsible for another taking what you say to an extreme. If we did what you advise than no one would talk out loud for fear of being sued. You head down a slipery slope of making the first amendment moot. We must tolerate other view points even if they are vile to us. If we start to stop speech that we do not like who is the arbitrator of what is and is not OK? I am sure what I think is OK and what some person who is a member of the Muslim brotherhood thinks is OK are not even close to the same. You people and your knee jerk reactions.
