Leiter states that “the Great Flood in the time of Noah was triggered by the recognition of same-gender marriages,” and adds that there are similar “messages in this particular storm for us." Addressing the disparity of the size of these two comparable floods, he says God "will not bring another flood to destroy the entire world, but He could punish particular areas with a flood, and if we look at the same-gender marriage recognition movement that’s occurring, that certainly is a message for us to learn...We have to learn that the Lord does watch what we do and if we don’t shape up He will deliver divine justice.” Leiter also suggested that God flooded Lower Manhattan because it is “one of the national centers of homosexuality.”
Later in the program, Leiter argued that the “LGBT radical homosexualist movement” threatens the survival of society and religious freedom and will even increase child abuse by giving molesters a “license to victimize” children and even “a certain degree of diplomatic immunity.”
I know that a lot of conservatives on here will agree with this man, but I'm curious what they have to say about his contention that same-sex marriage was recognized in the time of Noah. I hear you guys saying all the time that same-sex marriage has never, ever, anywhere in the world been recognized prior to very modern times.

Now I know which forum to go to for fun when the gardening forum gets boring. PPL let us refrain from making jokes and judging ppl for at least a few weeks after the disaster. In the meantime, donating money or assistance might be a great idea.
Why is it that so many people say they believe in a Bible which has God judging people with plagues, disasters, etc. And they have no trouble believing that. But, then if anyone suggests, like this rabbi has done, that perhaps a storm might just be God trying to get our attention, and turn us back to Him, they say he's crazy?
If God did that kind of thing in Bible days, what would prevent Him from doing it in modern times?
