Fresh off of re-election, Obama's approval rating is at a 3-year high and significantly higher than our last President was at this point after his re-election. Seems that the American people overall have a significantly different take on the job the President is doing than the malcontents on this board do.

"As he prepares to pitch an expansive new package of gun restrictions to a bitterly divided Congress, Barack Obama has the majority of voters on his side. A new TIME/CNN/ORC poll that will be released Wednesday afternoon finds that 55% of Americans approve of the job Obama is doing as President, compared to 43% who disapprove..."

Thanks Ken, and I hope Obama actually makes use of that popularity this time around, rather than repeating his old cautious ''can't we all just get along'' schtick, which makes absolutely no sense when your adversaries are seeking your head on a pike!

OK, time for the ''usual suspects'' here to pop in with more of their excuses about ''low-nformation voters'', ''MSM conspiracies'', or however else the Blaze, Rush and FOX addicts explain that little thang the rest of us know as ''reality''!
