Oh, and most of the countries doing better than the U.S. do have more gun control laws and fewer guns.

Did you really think anyone wouldn't notice that you posted firearm deaths only?

Fight dishonest with dishonesty I guess.

All of you suck.

I don't get it. Isn't that exactly what he said, "here is a list of countries ranked by firearm murder rates"? Am I missing something here? How was that one dishonest?

Unless you care about only guns and not violence then no it's not "more relevant", guns don't make people deader than any other form of weapon. If you do care only about guns, then you don't care about violence, and we can end your charade right here, because it's not about the victims, any of them, it's about the guns.

Here's why...
Kyrgyzstan? Homicide rate 20.3, that's better than the US?
Barbados? Homicide rate 11.3, that's better than the US?
Peru? Homicide rate 10.3, that's better than the US?
Costa Rica? Homicide rate 10.0, that's better than the US?
Moldova? Homicide rate 7.5, that's better than the US?
Uruguay? Homicide rate 5.9, that's better than the US?
Ukraine? Homicide rate 5.2, that's better than the US?

These can only be considered better if you ignore the act of murder, only caring about act of murder with a gun.

Source is from Wikipedia intentional homicide rates by country to be fair to your somewhat questionable source.

I think you need to go away and rethink your priorities... Or come out of the closet on your position being about guns and not about violence.

It's perfectly honest once you admit you're an anti gun zealot and you only care about gun deaths as opposed to all deaths.

El Salvador doesn't have any sort of gun ban; I legally took a pistol there after filling out the import/customs paperwork. 100% gun ban? Where are you getting this idea?

Anyway, the US murder rate is 4.7 per 100,000 according to the FBI in 2011, which is certainly better than a lot of other countries, but not other developed countries, which is the problem we face.

Congratulations. The US is better than most 3rd world countries, but worse than all 1st world countries.

Is that considered a positive?
