Good point, I can't argue with you. But raising the voting age to 21 would at least be a start. And it would send a message that's important for other reasons.
We all know prohibition didn't work. Seriously , what is the point of having a 21 and over drinking age. If you can restrict it for 18 year olds, why not restrict it for 30 year olds or 40 year olds??
They're allowed to stay with their parents health insurance coverage up to age 26 now. See, it's a heath issue. If anything the drinking age has to be increased.
this tired old subject again? if you dont like the drinking age where you live, then work to change it. at 18 most people still feel like nothing can kill them. that attitude starts to go away at around age 21 fortunately.

Still don't understand why you would allow an 18 year old to enlist and sacrifice his life. Why you would allow an 18 year old to vote or operate an automobile.
