Just curious
Okay, I will explain it. Patriotic people support the constitution. After all, that is the founding document of the nation they have patriotism for. That constitution has something called the 10th amendment. The federal government routinely ignores that amendment. Patriotic people oppose laws which violate the constitution. So patriotism is not a term for blindly following the federal government.

If you'll remember, it was a self proclaimed progressive who stated "dissent is the highest form of patriotism." Of course, they promptly fogot that once a Democrat was elected.

However, there are far more important questions to tackle before tackling the issue of the privately-owned banks controlling the money base of every country on earth.

For ex., the fact that our elections depend on monstrously-huge amounts of money. No one can run for office without huge amounts of money, and who can supply this but the mega-rich, who then have any legislation they want passed in exchange for the money they provided the candidate in question so he could run for office. Until this serious problem is solved, all we can do is try to push forward legislation to oversee and control somewhat the myriad abuses of the banking system.

What's more, banks, being privately-owned companies, are as free to abuse the system as any privately-owned corporation is, and as we all know, corporations are RIFE with abuse of the system and the people.
Do you believe that the "niceties" being offered are paid for by the U.S. citizens, through their tax dollars? How did the government operate, fund itself, before the Federal Bank, was created? What does the audits of the Federal Bank tell us about where our tax dollars are going?

Some say the Federal Bank is owned by a private group of people.

All I know for sure is I read the document on Thomas Jefferson's view on the establishment of the central bank of the U.S. he said it was unconstitutional. He had grounds for his argument, but I need to time to go retrieve that document.

Lightbulb Why is it that the states who scream about how patriotic they are are the first one's to petition for secession ?

Just for the record...

No state has petitioned for secession.

Lots of sore losers within some states have, though.

relief is on the way
