Ruger makes some good stuff at very good value. Maybe not the best in the world but within certain price ranges they dominate hands down.
Ruger is a budget brand. At 300 - 400 dollars you can get something nice but why would you waste 300-400 dollars when you can get the real deal for a couple of hundred more?

Perhaps but I wouldn't call them a budget brand like I would call Taurus a budget brand.
I think the 10/22 is somewhat overrated but some of their stuff offers a substantial savings at a pretty negligible sacrifice in quality.
Their customer service is also on the level of many of the more expensive manufacturers. They look out for their customers well enough that a surprising number of people don't even realize that technically Ruger does not actually offer a lifetime warranty like some of their more expensive counterparts.
Bill Ruger, founder of Sturm Ruger & Co. was very much anti-assault weapon and believed that ordinary citizens shouldn't have access to high capacity magazines and such. It was only after his death that the company started expanding and offering firearms with polymer frames and larger capacity magazines.
Just an interesting little tid bit for you all. There is no agenda or anything behind it.
Im talking about many of "The 20,000 laws" that need to go...
Many are in "liberal" states like Kali, NY, Chicago, and even Texas...
Texas should be open carry but it's not for example
I like guns and I like shooting. I almost bought the civilian version of the P90 assault rifle when I lived in Washington state until I realized I would have to sell it prior to moving back to Cali. But I also recognize that someones ability to engage in their hobbies don't outweigh the greater good/safety of others... To have a safe society we need less guns, period.

Less guns for whom? The law abiding or the criminals?
Were you saying/would you have said this during the Reagen era? The Bush era?
Yes. But the Lincoln era, no... We're far removed from everyone needing a gun.
