Again - your comment doesnt make sense. There are far more cars in the nation than guns and the number of deaths are about the same. Cars are used to make lives productive - the accidents are incidental. Slamming cars to justify your gun fetish won't help you.
There are no where near as many cars in the US as guns. If you're going to try and discuss something you should at least make some minimal effort to educate yourself on the topic. I know, that's a stretch for most liberals.
How many times a day is a car used to prevent a crime? Guns are used hundreds of times every day across the country to stop criminals. Firearms and Violence: A Critical Review
I bet I know "what" .45 the man shot himself with. It was probably a 1911. Being that it's a single action semi-auto designed over 100 years ago, it's a REAL MANs handgun. Newbs should keep their mitts off. You're not qualified, nor trained safely in it's use and carry...namely condition 1 or "cocked and locked".
Problem solved for at least one of these negligent discharges.
Why would you think that is funny? If the article read "man sustains injuries in car accident" you would find that humorous?
Not funny "ha ha," funny ironic given all the people who stated rather unequivocally that people who legally own their guns are at no risk of being injured by their own guns 'cause, you know, those statistics that actually measure these sorts of incidents are made-up.
Just like these reports today.

Point? If I list auto accidents, I don't think we have enough pages.
Gun ownership = drunk driving, and thats illegal.
