None of this would have happened if there was a cop in every school. Oh, wait, it's Sunday.

Like all religious beliefs, the gun fetish needs a Holy Writ, and true gun -believers find their bible the Second Amendment. Like all zealots, they interpret the Second Amendment in such a way that it confirms what they already wanted to believe, which is why, I suppose, it’s no accident that the religion of the gun finds its natural home in the land of creationism. The link you posted contains so many things that are BS that it's not worthy of refuting. I am glad I had a weapon in Vietnam because the enemy had weapons! What people like you propose is that we, the law abiding, should be disarmed leaving the criminals with weapons! Not much different than sending unarmed troops to battle in Iraq, etc. Pure foolishness

I have no political agenda. I could care less the politics. I'm just tired of the body count going up and up.

since you are the token canuck according to your profile, the 2nd Amendment really means nothing at all to you as you cannot truly understand what is a right and what is given to you by government. your guns up there in canada are so tightly controlled that the law abiding cannot even do very much with their firearms.

I do not mind if you are in favor of gun control, as long as you keep your views on gun control to yourself and your country. as your views on gun control have no bearing at all here in the USA.

Paranoid? No, as a gun owner that is not what I am proposing at all...What is your objection to universal background checks, and keeping guns out of the hands of unstable people? What do you need with high capacity magazines, or military style weapons? Are you that poor a shot?

Being that it occured in the south valley, I'm surprised they didn't all have guns.
