Is it just me or does the mainstream media report on massing shootings more often when a Democrat is president, or do more mass shootings seem to occur when a Democrat is president, or both?

What gets me is that they mention a "military style assault rifle" but on the others only say that one of the weapons used was that rifle. There were other guns used, and if the assault rifle was not available, the other guns would have been used without it. Banning assault rifles would not have prevented anything. And from the sound of it, even if no guns were available, knives might have been used instead. I don't believe that banning any guns is the answer. The answer is learning to "read the red flags" before the situation erupts.
