Conservatives on this forum constantly refer to Obama in a sarcastic manner as the messiah, the chosen one, or god like. Is this because you can't fight the fact that he's incredibly inspirational to many people so you just make fun of it? Because it's never the Obama supporters who say this kind of stuff.

Obama has been able to bounce back from a rough first term because people instill a lot of their hopes and aspirations in his presidency, and you haven't been able to successfully convince them that his time in office has been a bust. So instead, you mock their strong support as a cult like devotion to a false god. I just don't think yall get it.

It's kind of like how Democrats always made fun of Bush for being "dumb" because they were envious of his appeal to the average joe.

I think you can make the argument for any presidency having an "imperial" element to it...lest we forget the previous administration.

Not similar at all. I didn't envy ANYTHING about Bush. I've never heard anything so ridiculous. We made fun of Bush for being dumb because we thought he was dumb. There was nothing to read between the lines. It was that simple. Really.

He was named that by people on the left, so the title stuck. Blame the left for that one.

For Christs sake they voted for him because he is their crack daddy. Nothing more nothing less. The guy is a miserable failure at creating jobs or fixing the economy. Your post in fact supports our believe that you look at him in a twisted fashion. If he were a white man with his current record Mitt Romney would be president.

I wish you people would quit taking meds.

Hope and aspiration isn't going to fix his swath of destruction.

You should be worried what happens to the Taliban as the resemblance of the Tea Party to them is so striking.
