I have 2 problems with this whole fiasco. First of all what happened to the all the religious fanatics who are constantly spouting acceptance and forgiveness? What happened to being forgiven for sins of the past and becoming a better person in life? Here is a woman who turned her life around, tired to better herself as well as trying to make an impact on her community by becoming a teacher. Suddenly she is so evil that nobody wants her near their kids, Just how hypocritical can you be? It would seem to me that nobody wants people to improve their quality of life. Saying that "because she worked in the porn or sex industry she should stay there" is the height of stupidity and hypocrisy.
Second the one question nobody seems to be asking but should be is, how did a bunch of 12 and 13 year old kids get access to pornographic material when it is supposed to be controlled media? Rather than vilifying this poor woman who obviously changed her life for the better, someone should be investigating students and parents to find out who was so irresponsible to allow their children access to pornographic material at such a young age.
I think it's time people took the blinders off and start putting the blame where it belongs. So how about we stop ignoring violations of law and stop criminalizing the innocent.
I'm still amazed that I haven't seen anyone question the fact that it was allegedly her students that found the videos. Does nobody have a problem with the parents of these 12-14 year old boys for not supervising them enough to prevent them from watching online pornography?
Edited to add:
And apparently I was wrong on this one, as shown in the post above mine that quoted:

So at least somebody is asking the question. However, still seems to be a slim minority of people on this thread that even batted an eye on pubescent boys watching pornography.
So in your mind whatever you did in a previous life especially if it does not fit your approval they might as well keep doing it? No such thing as redemption I guess
When her videos are still floating around on the internet so no...
If somehow all her videos were to be erased from the internet, I don't think this would really be a problem.
Simple. She didn't say that she found Jesus. If she said that the moral majority would have a parade in her honor. They don't have time for people who turn their lives around and do not credit Jesus.

Thats true, I did not think of that It seems to work for fallen pastors, preist and preachers but I guess that it does not work for teachers
The problem is the age of the kids. If this was an elementary teacher it might be different, but she teaches middle school. Discipline problems at the middle school are difficult enough without having to deal with students who watched one of their teachers do the nasty on some film over the weekend.
There is no law that says you aren't allowed to curse out your boss but it will get you fired. There is no law that says you have to bathe but if you don't it will limit your job choices. There is no law that says you can't curse but if you do it indiscriminately, depending on your job, you might get fired. There is no law against being fat but doing so will get you fired if you are a runway model. There are all kinds of things people do that aren't against the law but nonetheless negatively impact their employment options. We are granted the freedom to do a lot of things, we are not, however, granted immunity from the consequences of those choices.
trust me people in the flesh trade have a low tolerance for baloney, they is why they usually dont do the 9 to 5.
and the k12 is the mother of all baloney machines.
