Maybe because the war in Iraq was unconstitutional

Yes, he's protected by the fact that he is not the president.

The office has been vacant for four years.

Mr. Meese is entitled to his opinion.

Obama being impeached? Not gonna happen. The first African-American president impeached? A democrat impeached while the US Senate is controlled by democrats?

That is why I find some of the threads here so entertaining. People post the most ridiculous and fantastical scenarios.

But it was not unconstitutional. A Democrat controlled Senate and a Republican controlled House authorized the use of military force against Iraq in October 2002, and that makes it constitutional.

Obama should have been impeached for violating the US Constitution and attacking Libya without the pre-approval of Congress. THAT was unconstitutional.

You are so correct. Obama can be impeached BY the 2nd amendment.

Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy were all impeached that way.

Then most of Congress should be impeached. It was not an executive order. Congress signed off on it.
You can't be that dense...

Let us discuss Libya, then! Obama has Bush beat.

glitch is right about the iraq war, however he is wrong about libya. since obama is the commander in chief of the military, under the war powers act he can order the military into action for 90 days, after which he must seek approval from congress to continue the military operation. unfortunately congress gave their tacit approval by not voting to stop funding for the libya operation.
