Real socialism is, by definition, democratic. It is economic as well as political democracy. Socialism eliminates the profit motive.

Like capitalism, socialism must be international so that global resources can be shared. No country can be truly independent of the global economy because until capitalism is defeated internationally it will continue to sabotage efforts to build socialism. Achieving socialism in the United States is necessary to any country being able to determine its own destiny.

Obama is a globalist who considers the United States and the American people rich comparative to other countries so he wants to share our wealth.

By the way, watch out, the VAT tax is coming. It will hit the middle class hard.

California has been big on green for years now and now they are trying to push it on the rest of us. As far as I am concerned they are a bunch of super rich hypocrites.

Green Party of the USA? Hmmm, not too sure. I know that the Canadian Green Party are considered to have a pretty fiscally Conservative platform, while still holding to their fervent environmentalism of course. They're capitalists, to the right of the Official Opposition New Democratic Party and left of the Conservatives. If the Americans are anything like them I wouldn't consider it a particularly Red party.
