Not to straight couples, gay couples, domestic partners.

It should be up to the company.
So you'd be fine with a company, say, offering paid maternity/paternity leave for its Muslim employees, but not for its employees of other faiths?

No, that's also discriminatory.

But you said: "I don't think the Gov should force anything."

Clearly that's not the case. It seems you'd want the government to stop the discrimination - to force the equal treatment of white and black employees (either they both get the benefits, or neither get the benefits).

I still don't think the Gov should force anything and I never said the Gov should stop discrimination or promote it. The only reason anti discrimination laws are on the books is because employers engaged in discrimination in the past. It's a private issue and the civil courts are able to handle discrimination suits.

What's fair is fair. But that should not be government's call. It should be up to the business owners.

Its completely wrong.
It's not that astounding, it's just something that would need to be addressed. It's only the way it is now because marriage wasn't even an option in the past.

businesses/companies/corporations/entrepreneurs should not be forced to provide any benefits

benefits/perks are a NEGOTIATION between the INDIVIDUAL employee and the company based on what kind of ASSET to the company he/she would be

the government should stay out of my wallet , my relationships, and my body

Same benefits for any legally associated couples, depending on the Pelosi documents. Full time, part time, number of employees, read the whole thing, fog of B*S**, etc.

What if Chick-fil-a wanted to exclude Muslims? Chick-fil-a is a christian company.

How about Jews?
