On the flip side, they don't "believe" in the amount of money that can be made in the acceptance by the population that it's our fault.

Of course global warming is real, but not in the sense that is being pushed by the war monger elite. Their answer is "Oh, we'll just kill 89% of the global population with Ebola or some other terrible **** we weaponized in a lab during the 1970's and 80's."

Humans continually bridge the gaps of knowledge to establish some reference point.

We cannot tolerate missing information.

A conspiracy is a common belief shared by a group of people.

Bridging the missing gaps of information give people a feeling of control.

What alienates people is not having their concerns considered. As in this last election that leaves at least half the country disenfranchised.

What alienates and disenfranchises people is seeing their tax money wasted on Solyndra and other boondoggles by their elected representatives and have to wait four years before they can select someone else. Then find out the political system survives the loss of both good and bad legislators.

What alienates people is hearing the president in hindsight snicker at the suggestion of 'shovel ready jobs'. When confronted with such upside down logic and explanation, people in their disbelief and conclude it was a lie or incompetence. they have no logic available to them in their experience, to explain what the president did.

What alienates people is hearing a legislator tell us that 'we have to apss it to see what's in it' and then that legislator gets re-elected.

We don't need conspiracy theories. Bur when you have people alienated because of missing information and creating conspiracy theories, it is diagnostic that the system, president, what have you is not forth comming with information. Anyone in a leadership position would watch for this and provide more details to fill out perspective and intentions.

Essentially the president is an alien to the country and does not have the same reference points as the rest of the nation.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but here's my take on climate change. Since at least some of it is a result of man-made effects on the environment, we might as well do all that we can to control the aspects that we can, like carbon emissions. Because what's the alternative? Do nothing, and things will just get worse and worse.
