I was wondering what happened to the propaganda princess. We should support anything that promotes the states use of human lives for foreign agendas.

I mean I cannot think of an argument against it really. Just I think women will face a bit more horrible fate then a man if captured.

Little scary both my kids could end up in a draft, but oh well.

Women are in combat positions now, but not as LWI, Airborne, or other SOCOM stuff. Truthfully, GI Jane was a movie. If you see women volunteering for the nasty stuff, they are likely to be walking adds for don't ask don't tell. They will have chips on their shoulders, and have something to prove. There is no room for that crap in combat. None!!!
Women are outstanding combat pilots, in certain forward suppot roles they also excell. However, as forward infantry, Airborne, Special ops such as SEALS or Rangers, I don't like the idea. Sniper ops...maybe, within certain limits, but, as I said, DON'T show up with something to prove. No time for that crap.

Physical Requirements

  • Military members must meet and maintain the physical standards required for their selected branch. The physical standards typically vary for women and men. For example, the Army requires all members to pass its physical fitness test. Men between the ages of 22 and 26 must complete 75 push-ups and a two-mile run in less than 13 minutes along with 80 sit-ups for a perfect score, while women of the same age must complete 46 push-ups, run two miles in less than 15 minutes and 36 seconds and complete 80 sit-ups to maintain a perfect score on the fitness test.

The hypocrisy of this stinks!! There are always exceptions to a rule!! But that's why they call them that!! Science flies in the face of this crap!! Just look at the boot camp standards!!! They train in sneakers instead of boots because of women!

This is gonna screw up of military's effectiveness!

Perhaps you know of some man that was offering to "take care" of Jessica Lynch? I've never heard of one.

No one was offering to take care of me back in 1978, the year I first entered the US Army.

My guess is that when there is something to be gained for a man to walk around in high heels and skirts you'll find plenty of them willing to do it.
