The Germans are smart and their econmy is just fine. If the Teapotty virus is spreading, the Germans will be the ones with the brains to eradicate it quickly. But it seems to be that these AFD people are nothing like the radical right wing that has invaded government here...different strain completely and they're likely not gun nuts either.

Why would any German support the Euro and/or EU? I have hard time getting it.

No, they are not gun nuts. They fear the future for their children and that Germany is sold out to the Banksters and the rest of Europe.

And you know this how?
Those of us who actually live in Germany don't seem to agree.

I think some of their goals are actually quite funny. Like the one that the cost of bailouts should be borne solely by the specific bank. Imagine the face of all the people who'll lose the money on their accounts. Hilarious!

Or the introduction of a separate Eurozone only with the "good" Euro-countries. Say goodbye to exports from northern countries.

Anyway, let's see, if they get 5%. I doubt it.

It's hard to tell what they actually are. All their ideas concerning education, family policies, pensions, foreigners, taxation, direct democracy, social security and defense fit on four (!) pages.

"Tea Party Like"?? LOL What does that mean? I do not think Europeans really embrace Libertarianism in the American Paradigm.
