??? you said it was illegal for the Senator to have sex with someone in the DR of a certain age even though it would be legal there. I understand the person you responded to simply said sex, but the context is in the forum itself. So you have to be playing that angle, if you arent, then IDK what you are arguing considering the next line.
What Menendez is accused of doing is both illegal in the DR and the USA. He is not simply accused of having sex.

From the way the forum outlined it, i though what he did was legal there, if im wrong my mistake, but that still doesnt make you right, as the premise of your argument was simply that U.S. law deemed it illegal which does not matter when he wasnt in the U.S. when it happened.
I am not wrong, you just seem to not understand the U.S. Law does not govern other nations or american citizen while in another nation, a citizen of the U.S. does not have to abide by U.S. laws while in another nation.

You sure are big on irrelevancies. The argument was what he did while perhaps a lapse in ethics is not illegal. It indeed is.
Again, these are all allegations and some of the right wing sites reporting it dont say it was prostitution.
so yes, it would be legal in some cases.
