My kids and wife are safer in my home because of the firearms, security system, dogs and other home protection measures that we've taken. If you don't want guns in your home don't buy them, leave me and my family the F alone.

How's this, for those with limp wristed brains...

My daughter has had her own gun since she was 5. She now has 2 and is about to get her 3rd and she is 15.
She went hunting all by herself the day after Thanksgiving and brought home the meat before 7am.

She knows how to operate and dismantle every gun we have on the property.
She even knows how to reload cartridges.
Her .223 can hold just as much brass as an AK.

But not everyone buys guns for safety. Some buy them to do harm so why would they even educate anyone in their household on the safety of guns. And that's where kids are harmed because they have no knowledge and find them lying around.

There has been a long running thread on Glock Talk called "Defining moment," where good and law abiding people posted their reasons to purchase and carry guns.

A lot of people, surprisingly, decided to join the rest of law abiding gun owners, presently because they just recently became parents.

My guns have killed a hell of a lot less children than liberal women have over the last year.

Liberal women killed more babies today alone than all the people killed in mass murders in the US in 2012 combined.

No need to feed this troll anymore, he/she will not answer, but continue to post irrelevant links that do nothing to support the title of the thread.

This thread should be closed....

Study has show that the general population is 8 times more likely to commit murder than lawful gun owners.

What's the difference between an assault weapon and semi-automatic deer rifle?

Assault weapons tear through walls. Not good for the kids.
