I wouldn vote for him in a million years, and find abortion in most cases apprehensible, but I also believe in states' rights. If New Yorkers think it's right, then I would let them be. But not in my state. NARAL gives New York an A- grade, while it gives mine, right to the south of New York state, an F. I can live with that

Who are these "some people" you are talking about? Basically this is a strawman argument that has no weight in anything. Who is calling Cuomo a hero?

Cuomo, along with Bloomberg, needs cancer.

Those 2 are a cancer upon their state, and with all of their bs spewing, they are quickly becoming a cancerous tumor upon the entire nation.

He's not my hero, but if he ran against the same GOP contenders (Perry, Santorum, Romney, Bachmann, Cain, etc..) I'd be tempted to support him

Having said this, he and Rahm Emanual have no shot at the nomination no different than any GOP who goes way out on a limb. The most serious contenders at this point in time are not particularily vocal on the topic of gun control.
