(Sigh)....now all firearms owners are to be labeled as insensitive, cold blooded, bullys. I suppose it was just a matter of time before tbe stops came all the way out. Is it any more right for anti girearms groups to hold up pictures of dead children and and say it's the fault of ALL gun owners? Holding up rifles like I have in my safe and saying anyone who would own one of these is a murerous bastard? We have families, we love our children and are willing to die protecting them. We are also willing to fight. Upping our chances of dying, some might say. Nevertheless, our convictions in this are burning hot. We have the means to fight, and possibly die, before we surrender ANYTHING to criminal scum.
I feel the pain of these parents. I suppose they think that what they call for is right.
But, what's right for them is not right for everyone. Folks like me, feel as strongly about having the ability to defend our loved ones and homes from whomever would do us harm, az these folks feel about NOT having the same. Tbe nation is very polarized on this issue, and the tactics are getting digustingly nazty and designed to provoke charged response.
This is bad. I'm sick of it. I will NOT give up ANY of my firearms, I will be ready for anyone who attacks my loved ones, and die, needs be to protect them. I figure my guns up my chances a bit of making tbe bad guys die first.
There are always some that make the rest look bad. It is unfortunate some can't just shut up when it is appropriate and let them vent, his words will do little but the rudeness speaks volumes.
Why haven't people realized opinions can be voiced, that isn't a threat. We can talk about our problems and together come up with a reasonable solution. taking guns away isn't my suggestion unless they have a felony, or are mentally unstable. Gun enthusiasts should be the first to cull their ranks and remove guns from the idiots that have no business with them. Seriously, they make the rest look bad.
NVPlumber, I don't really think that you feel their pain.
If anything, your post is trying to minimize their pain, and mock them for their stance.
You don't realize that it's because of your unreasonable, unyielding stance that things should go badly for the insensitive, insane, rigid gun owners.
The more rigid posts I read, the more I support banning, not just regulating, guns.
There are 2 or 3 realistic gun owners on CD; people who post like you do could learn something from them.
But you won't; and I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy your regulated future.

I applaud people crazy enough to call for a complete ban and confiscation of guns, it takes a lot of crazy to get to that point and people that crazy should wear it like a badge of honor.

Those that disagree with you probably found the above in bold offensive.......
Those same people fail to see the difference in gang members and those that acquire guns to do harm. How convenient to place responsible gun owners in the same category as criminals.

Un-**** the hammer already. Nobody is comming for your gun.
But let me remind you before you quote Chuck..."From my cold dead hands..."; That the 2nd amendment is just that -an amendment to the constitution. If like minded Americans wish to, they can add the 28th amendment to the Constitution...banning all private ownership and possesion of all firearms.

No they can't. The right to keep and bear arms isn't granted by the 2nd amendment, it's protected by it. Did you sleep through civics class?
