A white nationalist isn't synonomous with white supremacy....no more than the Black Pather movement or Malcolm X were synonomous with hating white people or advocating violence against white people.
Of course a Spike Lee is not exactly the same as a neo-nazi but both are racists. Why would we excuse either? I don't excuse either. OP (and Obama) condemns the neo-nazi but excuses Spike Lee as "opinionated." Which of us is a racist?
I have explained the difference before but obviously some folks didn't see it or just like repeating same lies.
You usually don't back up your opinion with facts from credible sources... So you really haven't explained much yet. We've only heard opinion from your perspective...

Neo-nazis are extreme and are not on the same or similar level as Spike Lee. Neo-Nazis are racist extremist that are responsible for many killings and violent crimes. Where Spike Lee doesn't even have one hate crime to his name... To believe the two are on the same level is idiotic at best and disingenuous and racist at most...
The core of conservatism is exclusion so this is not surprising. Listen to or read conservatives as they communicate their feelings about many of their fellow Americans and there is no doubt that conservatives hate millions upon millions of their fellow citizens.
