Lack of demand will certainly kill jobs and put a company out of business!

Of course, we know that being a soldier and officer isn't a real job
Taking money from one part of the country and shuffling it around to another part of the country, is not creating jobs, it's just moving money and resources around.

It might look like you created jobs, or even a town, by using $300 million to build a school, banks, homes, parks and stores. But all you did was take millions of dollars from people living in other towns, preventing them from using that money to build their own stores, a schools, parks, and homes in their own town. All you are doing is moving money around.

Gee, are you an economist? And here I thought the entire point of an economy is to move money around.

Thus... JOB CREATION.

For a possibly better chance at success. Notice how market research firms NEVER guarantee a specific outcome?

Yes, but demand does NOT create jobs. I demand a flying pony. Can't be done. No jobs created.

It happened all the time in communist countries. The government mandates people buy a specific product, even though no one wants it. Sort of like the health insurance policies forced upon us by ObamaCare.

Entrepreneurs manufacture a new product without a public demand, because no one has seen it before. The first tin cans were manufactured 200 years ago, there was no demand for them, because it was new. People had to be convinced that canned foods were better tasting, and an improvement over the home canning they could do with Mason jars. It was a few decades later before the first can opener was invented, and it was manufactured before the public demand too.
