Letting the parents of the child know what's going on in school is bad? Amazing....guess we should just let the kid do as they want. And yes FORCING a child to eat veggies is bad, some kids are allergic, some kids don't like them, some kids have dietary issues with eating it. Not schools area to deal with, letting parents know how kids act in school is.

So why shouldn't schools be required to report ALL teenage relationships? Why just gay ones?

Awesome! I love this. Although if you are a parent and you can't tell there is something off about your kid that's pretty bad...I hope this passes. 2 great bills in less than 2 days for Tennessee.

I have learned that parents can be astonishingly dense.

Sounds perfect to me. Why don't you recommend that to them. I like that idea a lot! Oh and the why only homosexual ones. Because girl/boy or boy/girl is normal boy/boy girl/girl is not.

Nobody is stopping a school from informing parents what their kid is doing in school now.

Well obviously teachers or admins aren't following through when there is a problem like this....must be a reason to do this.

And yet when some people call for gun-free zones etc. "for the children," they're bashed for using kids as props for a social agenda.

Because gun free zones are dangerous. All that does is advertise there are no guns here we are easy targets!

Who defines "homosexual activity" and how is it defined? Could a little girl look at another little girl for more than 5 seconds be considered "flirting"?? Will those little 6 year old girls holding hands or hugging each other considered "homosexual activity? If there is a sports game and the winning team starts to give each other "man hugs" or "girlie hugs" will that set off alarms??

Seeing as how this is about school, I was having a conversation with my daughter about my grandson's school, which has been renamed "Seeall Academy". It's K-8th grade. The principal and assistant principal are both gay and they are involved in the promotion of this academy.

This is the logo that the principal and assistant principal have chosen:

This is a gay pride flag:

This is a gay pride symbol:

See the similarities. Colors are in the same order.

Seems the prinicpal and assistant principal are pushing their own agenda and this does not sit well with me or my daughter. I have to wonder if they received Board of Education approval and if so, do they know what they were approving and by whom. I would be just as concerned if they had religion on their agenda and were slipping it through in a subtle way (although I don't think this is very subtle). The older boys, 7th and 8th grade, have alot of not-so-very-nice-things to say about gay people because of this symbolism and knowledge that the principal and assistant principal are gay.

What would you think?

Typically hypocritical conservative rant. "We want you to tell us what WE want to know, telling anyone anything else would just be the big gummint nanny state in action "
