I agree that molestation is something completely different than consensual sex even with a minor. The law may look at it as a form of rape, but it isn't molestation.

Very odd the left loons are. If this had been a republican they would have him declared guilty and a pedophile. They would be saying how this is just another example of republicans. But if its a Democrat they are willing to wait without convicting them first
Well yes, if the Republican would of been found guilty of this, then we Democrats would be willing to convict him for it, would some Democrats freak out before one was proven guilty? Sure, and it is no different on the Republican side with you guys freaking out without a conviction.
When there is a conviction and Menendez is called guilty in something like this, then yes he should step down. Until then it is a non-news story and basically fake outrage.
