Exactly the findings of the studies in The Millionaire Next Door:

"Conversely, people of modest backgrounds who believe that only the wealthy produce millionaires are predetermined to remain non-affluent."

Yes, I saw that. However, that guy gives no source for his data that I could find
It's in the book, not in the free Chapter One teaser version provided by the NY Times. Buy the book to get the research sources. TNSTAAFL

And that is an honest profession containing an honest days work. I'm sure you can make a pretty damn good living with that experience level.

FALSE.

How do you all NOT know that contraceptive failure rates are determined by total use within a one year time frame?

As corrected above

During the first year there is a 99% success rate
During the 2nd year there is also a 99% success rate. The total success rate is then (.99*.99) 98%
During the 3rd year there is also a 99% success rate. The total success rate is then (.98*.99) 97%
During the 4th year there is also a 99% success rate. The total success rate is then (.97*.99) 96%

So, after just 4 years the chances of one becoming pregnant while on contraceptives is equal to the chance that one has of becoming a millionaire in their entire life.
