Yes - but the pro-abortion people conveniently ignore this fact - because they actually want these children to be aborted rather than be adopted.
It all boils down to power and control - and what greater power can the feminists wield when they hold the power to both create life and also destroy it?
But people do have sex and there is nothing you or I can do to prevent it.
Such a defeatist attitude.
Are you always so pessimistic?

No, it isn't.
I am sure that some people in the South once thought that slavery was an institution and that nothing anyone did would change that - but you don't see many slaves in the South anymore, do you?
Abstinence education is the key - people need to know that they are empowered to make responsible choices.
As LifeNews reported last year, Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Policy Advisor for Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation notified LifeNews the abortion center would close, saying Capital Care has been plagued with decreased business and financial problems and recently cut back clinic hours due to difficulty keeping an abortion practitioner employed. An increasingly strong pro-life presence in Central Ohio is credited with contributing to the decision to close, she added.
She indicated that two abortion practitioners known to work at Capital Care are Harley Blank and Thomas Michaelis. Blank, who also works at the Founder’s Women’s Health Center abortion clinic in Columbus, was honored by Planned Parenthood earlier this year for his 30-year career as an abortionist in Columbus.
30 years as an abortionist, I wonder how many babies he killed.
Are you as concerned about keeping children and adults alive and well?

Reason: So you're answer is no then.
So my boyfriend, his two sisters (who were an infant and toddler when they went into the system), and his best friend (went into the system as an infant when his parents could not get enough support for his cerebral palsy - but no one else wanted a disabled brown boy either) are just figments of my imagination, right?
There are people who adopt disabled children. Our system needs to be updated to put those two together. Government red tape can be most of the problems.
I thought abortion was going to take care of all these problems. No "unwanted" children in the world anymore.
That's not why I support the right to choose. Abortion is the nuclear option and I wouldn't resort to it. It is not an ideal substitute for responsible sexual activity. I'm opposed to late-term abortions especially if the fetus is viable outside the womb. I support the right to choose because I abhor the idea of one individual directing another individual's personal decisions.
