I understand your comment about the Boy Scouts and religion which is fine.
What I don't understand is this comment perhaps some parents would have problems with sending their children to overnight camping with a Gay scout Leader

and who gave you the authority on what "is" or "isn't" moral? I'm sure you have crossed paths with many Gay people in your life who never made it a point to discuss or impart their sexuality with you.

I'm guessing a fair majority of boys who continue on in the Boy Scouts are not all straight.
I'm wondering why anything that things of a sexual nature are discussed at boy scout meetings? They certainly were not at the ones I attended when my son was young.
