Karl Rove and his Koch brother backers don't like the Tea Party, they cause problems when their christian, bible-gun-loving republicans rub up against the plutocrats. The republicans are in a state of flux, much like the democrats before Clinton. I hope that they get their act together soon before we have a one party government.

Can't stand the little weasel, (except for his meltdown on Fox on election night. Comedy gold!). But you know what they say about not interrupting your enemy when he is making a mistake. Rove is doing the Democrats a huge favor by attempting to chuck the Tea Partiers from the GOP, thereby splitting the party. Go, Rove!

I would be surprised if Koch support Rove. Rove is writing his own obituary that's all.

Johnson is a libertarian.
Rove and Bush are pretty Liberal and did a terrible job when Bush was in office.

Exactly, and it won't make a bit of difference besides alienating much of the GOP ''base''. So you can try to front more republican moderates, but given the current influence of RWNJ media, getting 'em elected these days is another thing altogether!

Basically conservatives need to re-calibrate the whole idea of what's ''extreme'' and what's ''center'', and that ain't gonna be happening for awhile...

This isn't a football game, one party rule breed corruption, no matter what side of the coin you are on you do not want to see one party totally dominate.
