Somebody needs a remedial civics class.
It's a person's right to associate with whomever they please.

You think it is okay for government to tell you who you can and cannot associate with and you claim that does not violate your rights?

Politician's love people like you. Defending their ability to do whatever they want, no matter how unjust.

People do it everyday, including you.
Why would I need to look up the definition of a word whose definition I am well aware of?

You're the one telling me that it is illegal to discrminate in Columbus, Ohio.

I figured you didn't know the definition of the word since everyone in Columbus discriminates everyday. Several times a day. So do you.

What? I never said it's "illegal to discriminate" in Columbus. Until my previous sentence, I hadn't typed the word discriminate.

I simply said that, as in Oregon, what this bakery did is also illegal in Columbus. I even provided you with the Columbus law that it violates.

If I had used the word discriminate, I would have said: "Like in Oregon, it's illegal to discriminate in this manner in Columbus, Ohio." That's a factually true statement.

If I hate Chinese people, and therefore will not patronize their restaurants, I violate no law. However, if the owner of the Chinese restaurant, for example, despises Jews, he will not be legally able to forbid them from entry onto his premises. Why?

Why is it legal for some to discriminate and not others? "Anti-discrminatory" laws are discriminatory.

Okay.

Why is it illegal for the baker to discriminate against gay people?

Let's say the baker is black. The gay guy (customer) hates black people. So he discriminates against this baker and goes to the white baker down the street. No law is violated. If the gay guy decided to purchase a cake from the black guy and was refused the black guy is "guilty" of a crime.

Why is it okay for the gay guy to discrminate and not the black guy?

It's illegal because the law says it is. It's as simple as that.

You may think the law shouldn't say that, but the fact that it does is a fact. The law also says it's illegal for a business open to the public to discriminate against straight people, or black people, or white people, or Christian people.

Different situation - different ethic. One is a private person making a private decision, the other is a person engaging in regulated, public commerce.

Are laws against racial discrimination "stupid" too?

The courts and legislators disagree.

Makes total sense, noob.

Sure. And breaking laws has consequences.

Laws against racial discrimination are not "stupid" because people are born into whatever race they are. Many people believe people are not born gay, and criminalizing discrimination in the absence of conclusive scientific proof is a political determination which lacks the moral legitimacy of prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, or national origin.

Whether you are "born" that way is perhaps debatable, but it's basically accepted scientific fact at this point that sexual orientation is an unchosen, biological characteristic rather than some sort of choice.

Not to mention our anti-discrimination laws do cover one aspect of a person that is 100%, unequivocally a choice - religion.

This is a good example of why many Muslims believe the West is "wrong" and Islam is "right". In Islam, religion is not something to be left outside of business in a separate compartment of one's life.
