At least you admit after 4 years of Obama being in charge the economy is weak

Those who do that will have to admit that they don't know anything about the OP link and I have just posted a bit of it and here is some more that most haven't seen. That would be the beginning paragraph earlier and the last 2 paragraphs here.

Have you walked through the mall in your area recently? How many small or large stores did you see that were closed and empty? Drive through parts of town and look at how many stores in the smaller strip malls have been vacated.

I don’t see these things as being signs of a recovering economy, but signs of an economy that is still struggling and falling. The Obama administration may try to cover the truth with smoke and mirrors, but in the end, the empty buildings and unemployed Americans will tell a much different story than what we are being led to believe.

Yeah, right. We heard all this crap about how there would be all these mass layoffs if Obama won reelection? What happened to all that blustering?

Amazon sells everything.

They compete on every level imaginable nowadays.

I see a real attempt to protect the Obama administration with your deflections. Nice job, I guess.
How is this different than it ever was?

How long since Woolworths' has been gone?

Back east where I grew up, we had Korvette's, Abraham & Straus, Lamston's, The Wiz - just to mention a few - all gone now.

All closed long before Mr. Obama was elected to the senate, let alone the presidency.

This is natural cycle in business. Adapt or die.
I would think that a free-market conservative like yourself would appreciate this as proof that capitalism works like it's supposed to.

It's apparent that some here do not realize the face of retailing has been evolving for the past decade and has nothing to do with whomever is sitting the oval office.

It's all about the internet and the biigest box retailers.

That's odd because the ACA doesn't kick in until 2014. Moreover, if those businesses have fewer than 50 employees they are exempt.

I can only conclude that this blame is misdirected.
