Well no, they would have to prove they were a threat. If someone simply shoots someone on the street and claimed they felt threatened, they would get charged.

Trayvon Martin was never given his due process. Where is the outrage about that unconstitutional law?
Again, you have no point here. If al-Awlaki jumped a soldier I would have no problem with the soldier shooting him. The courts will determine what happened in the Martin case.

Oversight of the law. Understand?

That is a ridiculous analogy.

Anyone care to point out the exception based upon citizenship?

That "Resolution" was based on lies, and would be unconstitutional even if it were not; just as was the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.

"Perception" is everything, man! Especially in the current age of contrived appearances.

People are getting really creative these days.

They're taking after the Government to satisfy their personal ego needs.

To justify murder (or assassination) one only need to make the statement: "I feared for my life."

George Bush created the climate of fear. Now, EVERYONE is gaming it.

Global warming is a farce; global fearing is where at is!

Where fear is the currency, Ayn Rand get triple trashed.

Didn't Dick Cheney pick up on FDR and say, "Fear!" "The only thing we have to "really fear" is objectivity."

What a commodity!

It's traded daily on the NYSE.

Fk Bush's "threat level" - the real commodity is fear and its social derivatives. Zimmerman is cashing in on his social derivative.

Nowadays, objectivity is a high crime.

Fortunes are made on fear.

Obama! Finally, we have a nice face on fear. It would never have happened without the Cheney scowl.

Everything is all pretty, now.

Chilling legal memo from Obama DOJ justifies assassination of US citizens | Glenn Greenwald | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

By comparison, the Constitution specifically lays out that you must have two witnesses in court two accuse you of the crime of treason in order to be convicted. Obama will kill you on his say so alone.

if this is his justification for assassination of US citizens, then he should be impeached and convicted based upon those justifications.

if obama would have been a republican president and said those same justifications, then he would have already been impeached.

I guess his 16 year old son was another "leader" ?

Our government is counting on people like you to be content with what they tell you.
His stupidity ..... he should have just joined up with the good Al Qaeda terrorists overthrowing Egypt, Libya and Syria, and he could have avoided the wrath of Obama and the Pentagon's war on terror, and received military equipment and financial assistance instead.

That's what he gets for not keeping up with the latest trends in "Club-terror". Maybe he didn't get the memo.
