IMO i think alot of people know it doesn't "trickle down", They just want an excuse to cut taxes for the wealthy
Because despite your pseudo-intellectual revisionist history - it worked.
Not only did it work, we collapsed Russia in similar fashion to what al-queda is doing to us now and despite that ******* Bush it still handed off to Clinton a powerhouse economy.
Obama's plan, if you call it that is working too.
He is bankrupting America to hand over to international banking and business.
At one point in history it worked. But people were different then. When a business profited so did the employees.
The pipes controlling the flow are all clogged up with greed and corruption.
When I started working back in the 80's the company gave good bonuses.
Trickle down worked. Remember "profit sharing" ? We also got good raises and benefits including paying for continuing education and pensions.
Make it easier to do business and more business will come. Perceived fairness doesn't help anyone, as is evident.
Increase taxes, regulations and manipulate wages falsely and you have businesses leaving.
BTW....how's that "trickle up" working out? Looks like all of the profits have trickled up to Wall Street.

I'm almost certain that I've seen Bentley's and Rolls Royce's in my area, not to mention BMW's and MB's.
I know that wealthy people buy clothing and eat at restaurants.
They also vacation in America and spend money attending sporting events and concerts.
Should they give hand outs to the masses.....I mean more than they are forced to by the tax code?
As to the part in the bold, the answer is yes, and their are solid statistics to back it up. As a whole, the lower and middle class spend a much greater percentage of their income (read: it goes back into the economy) while the wealthy save more.

Good is bad , and bad is good today. Greed is good today vs. fair and just. With the moral decline of America , people will become more callous . Thanks to the people who are anti-God many have no decency left in them and will only be self-centered and have no conscience on how they treat their employees.
TV has become materialistic with programming that shows decadence to the highest degree. Owning things have become more important than treating people justly and fairly.
Many who follow Obama think justly and fairly is to spread the wealth around with give aways . This is not just or fair either. Giving a fish is not the answer . Giving the skills to catch the fish is more rewarding to the person , and will serve the same purpose.
The people who benefit the most from trickle-down are the ones that can afford to put out the message.
they have "small government" southerners convinced that paying corporations to hire them is good policy, for Christ's sake.
