Why should anyone be lauded for stupidity? What you are describing as "partial support" is actually a desire to pass useless laws in a knee-jerk reaction. Even Joe Biden, who leads the committee on gun control, was caught on camera stating that new gun control laws would not stop mass shootings or substantially reduce gun deaths.
So, the pro-gun crowd should praise Obama because he wants to infringe on the 2nd Amendment for absolutely no reason? We should consider Obama to be less divisive because he wants to pass even more controversial legislation that won't do what people are being led to believe it will do (e.g. the ACA)? Your logic is escaping me here.
Who said anything about praising Obama?
I just think the "pro-gun crowd" would get further by saying something along the lines of: We are glad to see that President Obama has acknowledged the right of Gun ownership and the legitimate role run guns have played in our society. Instead they are focusing on how often the President goes skeet shooting.
You're just amazing. YOU are the one constantly attributing superhuman powers to Obama and his Administration. What would you do with your life if you didn't have Obama to attack on a daily basis and without Obama to give you that much needed adrenaline rush of fear each day?
I wonder what I would do without Obama. Probably go back to relaxing like I did the first 75 years of my life.
If he really wanted to demonstrate the legitimate use of forearms he'd have used an AT to tale down some bad guys...or prevented a coup...oh wait, he's part of the coup!
