Coeur d’Alene Sen. John Goedde, chairman of the Idaho Senate’s Education Committee, introduced legislation Tuesday to require every Idaho high school student to read Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” and pass a test on it to graduate from high school.
Rand would have strongly opposed this measure, because her value system revolved, first, foremost and last, around an absooute minimum limit upon the state's power to coerce.
If you read the article a bit more closely, it becomes clear that Mr. Goedde is merely playing semantic games. But the more-simplistic of his groupies need to read a bit more of the philosophy underpinning Rand's reasoning; because as Rand herself said, "When you arrive at a contradiction, examine your premises, because at least one of them is false."
But then, you can say the same thing about all the self-procaimed "Liberals" here. And they have much bigger plans for everyone who isn't sufficiently Politically Correct.

Can you say propaganda? Ayn Rand was of the opinion that the wealthy are gods and the working people are a bunch of losers
It's no worse than that other thread about the teacher who required all her white students to write letters of apology for slavery.
