But we also have is conservatives looking over Obama with a fine tooth comb searching for anything to be critical. How much did GW Bush give to charity or Ronald Reagan? Who knows, because nobody bothered to make it an issue.

I agree. Being cheap and greedy is a personal choice. Obama has made that choice; it is simply a reflection of his character, as his private actions are inconsistent with his public "values".

Being a liberal and a hypocrite, however, should be expected to be entirely consistent.

Obama's tax plan would have himself paying more taxes. Romney's tax plan would have himself paying less taxes.

More anti-black insuations. Bordering on racism. Of course, most of what I see you post is trollish/hateful ... or so it appears that way. So, tell us what percentage of your income you contributed to charity or your church last year? It would be very "white" of you to do that, too.

Not even sure why you are posting that considering the number is wrong, the President released his numbers 4 years ago.

But to combat YOUR argument. The president and his wife average 240,000 a year during that span while paying off student loans and paying a mortgage

Its moronic to compare what they gave to charity to what a multimillionaire gave to charity.

Romney wants to lower taxes on the rich including himself. TRUE. He gives way more charity, does that count for anything?

The LDS coffers, BYU, exclusive private schools are not "charities".
Neither are places like the Federalist Society, the Hoover Institution, the Heritage Foundation, and the Massachusetts Family Institute are not charities. They are political organizations.

Romney is expected to give 10% to his church (to be a Mormon of good standing) anyway isn't he?

Church's should be taxed like any other business, since that is what they are.

As far as Romney.....
2010:

LDS Church: $145,000 (not charity)
Belmont Hill School: $5,000 (not charity - prestigious private school)
Best Friends Foundation: $15,000 (charity)
Boys and Girls Club of Boston: $10,000 (charity)
Brigham Young University: $25,000 (not charity - LDS University
Center for Treatment of Pediatric MS: $75,000 (charity)

2009:

LDS Church: $600,000 (not charity)
The Becket Fund: $25,000 (tax-exempt organization , not a charity)
My Sister's Keeper: $5,000 (charity)
Mass General Hospital Cancer Center $1,000 (charity)

2008:

LDS Church: $1,800,000 (not charity)
SafetyNet: $10,000 (charity)
Boston Ten Point Coalition: $15,000 (charity)
Boys & Girls Harbor: $20,000 (charity)
Operation Kids: $10,000 (charity)
Epilepsy Foundation: $1,000 (charity)
Pioneer Institute: $10,000 (not charity - tax exempt think tank)
Belmont Hill School: $5,000 (not charity - prestigious private school)
Cranbrook Education Community: $5,000 (not charity - prestigious private school)
Boys & Girls Club: $10,000 (charity)
Pan Mass Challenge: $10,000 (charity)
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Breath of Life Gala: $10,000 (charity)
Deseret International Foundation: $25,000 (not charity - LDS Media org)

In other words, one received greater tax avoidance (breaks) then the other.
How is giving to ones church not charity?

That money must go through the leviathan of the federal government first, huh?
