Um, no. It turns global warming into over drive. Dark seas absorb way more solar radiated heat then white ice reflects.

We have one planet, one life support system, I'd really like not to tinker with it.

I would like a serious attempt to try to slow GW down, but as an aside, could this explain Rogue waves?

I think it was explained in the piece...A human in space taking pictures of earth with perfectly placed sunlight.

Are you saying that polar ice caps gained more area than they lost? I've never heard that.
