Who would have thought that the University that offers free sex changes for trannies would publish something like this.

People in their 20's and 30's are children??? The risk takers in life tend to be the youth. The older you are, the more you have to lose. How many middle aged guys, gun owners included, are willing to do what the "children" in these videos do??

I know people in their 20's and 30's who expect to be praised irrespective of merit (aka everybody gets a medal), expect society to address their needs and take care of their retirement, healthcare, and shelter. I know people in their 20's and 30's who expect government to guarantee not equality of opportunity but equality of outcome. I also know people with these expectations in their 40's, 50's, and beyond. They're called 'liberals' and they're deathly afraid of people who insist that they eke out their own way in the world. They vote with kneejerk-like dependability for the democrat party.

So, no actual refutation of the findings. Just an attack and guilt by association. How unexpected

Liberals are afraid of conservatives who are afraid of them. They are afraid of the rich and ensuing social injustice. They are afraid ...

Fear was a great way to help you survive in the Stone Age, now it's the cause of needless wars, and injustice.

Scientific studies have shown conservatives have a enlarged portion of their lower brains that produce fear/disgust responses, whereas liberals have an area of the higher brain that is larger and deals with sorting out conflicting stimuli.

That's it in a nutshell. And goes hand in hand other fact that liberals have higher IQ's

Now this is funny. There is a link between epopole who want to take risk on their own verus those who want centralist control thru politics.I'd quite the opposite.

The truth of the matter is, that citizens who want our current immigration laws enforced, are anything but "irrational." In fact, citizens who understand the implications of having our immigration laws even more relaxed than they already are, seem to be more understanding of the effects it has on our economy. It is a known fact that illegal immigrants come here, and cost U.S. citizens billions in educating their children for free, providing them with free health care, deplete subsidies, while increasing demand for housing. They also drive down wages, while increasing unemployment rates and have a high rate of incarceration, which is also very expensive. The state of California spends billions on this issue alone.

This makes perfect sense, and is in lines with other studies, from the MBTI to The Righteous Mind. Even at a young age, you can often spot the "novelty-averse" children who grow up into somewhat "fearful" adults, in the sense that these folks are suspicious of change and "difference". But, if anything, these studies (I would hope) help us appreciate the depth of conservatives' convictions.

Although more liberal types (myself included) might vigorously disagree with conservatives on many issues, one would hope that, if they are truly as "open-minded" as they claim they are, they would at least appreciate the fact that one can't change core beliefs by simply mocking them. (Obviously, this applies to conservatives, as well. Although I can be sympathetic to or even swayed by sensible arguments, for example, I've been kind of a "hippie" since I was a little kid. So COOL IT WITH THE ALL CAPS SCREEDS, ALREADY! )

I can appreciate the evolutionary advantage of being "fearful", just as I'm glad there are risk-takers in our midst to challenge convention. I think a world in which everyone approached the world and thought just like me (as awesome as I am! ) would be boring.
