Default do you have a spare tire and fire extinguisher?

Another study by a government dependant, grant fed university!

Along with the media turned propaganda machine, the glow is gone from the impression of impartiality of university studies.

The country has turend the corner to become the Tass and Pravda fed nation of Obama's Amerika.

If you carry a spare tire, extra cash in your wallet, a penny in your loafers, wear sunblock, have a pfd in your boat, have a fire extinguisher, CO2 and fire alarm you might be a fearful conservative.

Yes, the studies are ridiculous, feel good, tripe.

But, I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it.

I agree with you that the polling showing a Romney victory were flawed. That should show you how easily this tripe is manipulated. Sadly, it doesn't appear as if it has.

Well, this has always been obvious to most people. Pretty much by definition, conservatives are suspicious of change and cling to the past. No study was needed for this.

At least our fears have already come true. Mass killings at least once a month ... when was the last time the black helicopters came for your guns? And yet first graders must be shredded in order to preserve your toys and your fantasies ...
Or maybe your irrational fear that everyone with a gun is out to get you has blinded you from the real problem.

Unless the real problems the perpetrators of these heinous crimes have is addressed you will live in pseudo-safety. Where there's a will...there's a way.

Taking guns from law abiding citizens does nothing to make you safer.

But back on point, weren't we talking about the fears of conservatives? I guess the study couldn't measure common sense.

Not necessarily. They want to keep the things that *work* and look to changes that will actually improve things.

They are more grounded, skeptical and vigilant, which are traits of survivors. You can see this anywhere - in nature and in human society, at work, in business, relationships, etc. Those who are too trusting and nonjudging get eaten up and spit out, they become victims. They get comfy in that role and want everyone to be a victim.

So by your own admission, these studies are a waste of money. Your own bias was enough to come to your conclusion.

I guess so. I would think anyone believing all the Al Gore hype and fearmongering while watching his carbon footprint would be pretty ignorant.

It's also common knowledge that liberals will embrace any change regardless of what it is or what consequences it may have just so they can feed their terribly insecure psyches and claim they are better than everyone that does not agree with them.
