What is with this inane obsession people have with drones? How are they any more devastating (to the enemy)than 'smart' bombs, bunker busters, non-remtely piloted fighters launching missiles at specific targets, cruise missiles, etc., etc., etc.?

Triviality. I said "most" and should have said "many." Why are you focusing on this when in fact the point is that liberals are hypocrites and liars when it comes to holding this President accountable? Why won't you rebut that fact?

BTW, I think it's OK to kill declared enemies of the US.

Why won't you rebuke the fact that the right had no problem with drones or deaths when Bush was in charge but all of a sudden you and them show outrage when Obama uses them?

Drone strikes kill, maim and traumatize too many civilians, U.S. study says - CNN.com
The report states "available data indicate that drone strikes killed 2,562 - 3,325 people in Pakistan, of whom 474 - 881 were civilians"

Just WHO were the 2088-2444 (73-81%) who according to the report WERE NOT civilians?

And WHERE is the data saying non-drone attacks killed significantly smaller percentages of civilians?

Good question. Maybe it's because they kill and return to rearm and refuel for more but you are right.

Maybe I've watched "The Terminator" too many times.

Again, I think they are great used in the right way. Something I highly doubt will happen.

Not really, I believe in a liberal use of sef defense. I'm for it just as long as they shoot at the right guys, you know, right wing nutjobs, terrorisut and certified evil doers. Of all shades of political opinion, Liberals are one of the shadiest (Phil Ochs).

EXACTLY!

Drones are NO different than any other tool of war with the exception being they don't endanger their operators.

Why that seems to upset people to obsessive levels is what I'd like to know.

A liberal in the US is a conservative in most industrialized or developing countries.
