This is a disgrace to our military and as you know, I am 100% against having gays in the military. It serves NO valuable purpose to have them serve. It is not progress in any way. It weakens the military. Infantrymen are just not going to follow someone in combat they have no respect for. What we are dealing with is political correctness run amok and I feel that bad things are going to start happening to gays in the military since the floodgates have been opened for them.
The kid is a yearling corporal, and wears stars on his collar showing that he's top 5% of his class academically. Not bad.
Gay American soldiers, sailors and airmen are buried in military cemeteries all over the globe from Gettysburg to Arlington to Normandy to Manilla. They do not care that you are a homophobic hater. Neither did the men and women they fought beside.

I do agree with you, but why did the Huffington Post think it necessary to post this or make a story out of it? They are the ones who are opening up Pandoras box. This shouldn't be a story or an issue!!!

You're projecting your own hatred and bigotry onto the men and women who serve in the military, which is pretty disgusting.
It is kind of funny coming from the guy that has repeatedly asserted that anybody who has served deserves automatic respect. I get the feeling that only applies to straight, white, conservative military members.
