-I'm not sure where this one comes from...as a libertarian I am very much against foreign entanglements that aren't absolutely necessary...so no.
-its important to recognize that most libertarians and conservatives don't have a massive opposition to government at the state level...but the federal is a different story. The federal government should serve in national defense, adjudicating property and contractual disputes, federal highway infrastructure, and a few other limited funding rolls like block grants to the states, pell grants, etc.

-the states should manage these lands
-absolutely not
You actually sound like a pretty reasonable conservative.

No they weren't. I've heard conservatives say every point I made was a good idea. But I do think very few of them would actually be nuts enough to think they're all good ideas.

You might find a few lunatics voicing a lot of things, just don't trot out these straw dogs as if they represent any rational thinking person. That's why so many libs sit on their high horse thinking they are superior, because they actually believe this crap you posted.

For like the hundredth time, a religious conservative is not the same a a constitutional conservative. Too many libs mix and match politics and religion, believing they are one in the same. but as long as the Democratic Party platform is about abortion on demand, gay this that and everything, a lot of religious conservatives will stay out of that party.

There are single issue voters out there, and if that issue is pro-life or pro-traditional marriage, they will not be democrats. They will be in favor of every other redistributive, socialist crap the dems are for, but they won't vote for baby killer politicians, and you guys will label them as "conservatives" anyway.

If reagan wasn't a conservative than who the hell was? Better yet, why do ya'll keep electing these people. Mccain definitely was a moderate, and romney needs to no explanation. If conservatives believe in free markets and limited government, why do you keep electing republicans who end up being moderates, or at the very least there record definitely shows no hint of limited government and free markets.

than what about mississippi, alabama, georgia, south carolina, kentucky, etc. Are those classic examples of reduced government and free markets?

Probably, they don't believe in investing education either. Small government remember! It's a catch 22. Cutting regulations and getting our of the way of business is a good thing, but if you don't invest in your people no company needs or wants to employ your people.

I love how the Liberals think all Conservatives are all religious freaks. Hate to burst your bubble but we're not all the God-Fearing, Church going type.

It must have taken many bales of hay to construct a strawman of this proportion.
