We don't know what kind of deformities this fetus had. They may have been incompatible with life outside the womb. The mom traveled some say 300 miles for the abortion. This was an extenuating circumstance, a late-term abortion, although we do NOT have a definitive length of pregnancy. All we really know from eyewitness accounts is that the mom was obviously pregnant, but that could denote anything from about 20 weeks on. I noted earlier, it is not unusual out here in large western states, to travel 300 miles in the same state for health care. The mom had the abortion, then went to the ER in the same town as she had the abortion. She had not yet gone back home.
All this implication that the mom was up to something shady is ghoulish!
Not only did she travel to Maryland to the abortion doctor, her ENTIRE family accompanied her. Her husband, her parents, her sister. The baby was very much wanted. The young woman was much loved by her family. The medical situation was so dire, that the ENTIRE family went with her to help her through this difficult time. It's a tragedy. The pro-lifers choosing to politicize this are not showing much respect for this young woman's life, or, really, the life of the child that is being buried with her.
You might be the 1st person to state with such certainty that both the baby and the mother were unlikely to survive a live birth. Has that info been released by the family or medical personnel, or is it something you're making up ?

Then her ob/gyn told her to go to some clinic in another state and get an abortion at 33 weeks when her life was in danger? I think not.
Suppose no states allowed this and no doctors would do it. Then what would be done to help this woman?

She had a doomed pregnancy, and sought out the most qualified and experienced doctor closest to her to perform the procedure to end that pregnancy.

People travel to specialist doctors all the time, usually over much greater distances. At least concede that.

Indeed. There are some really disturbed people out there. I've been looking into late term fetal anomalies/abnormalities, which are also termed congenital defects, so I could have an idea what these people might have been dealing with and have found some scary conditions. Some where the fetus is destined to die before birth or during birth. These decisions are so difficult to make and clearly this family faced serious hardship. Instead of compassion, people use this story to get their rocks off, perpetuate some agenda, and to demonstrate primitive, base behavior.

That's simply not true. Your statement that the woman's life was at risk by giving birth is your guess.
Life is so incredibly complex. I'll never understand how people like you can make vast sweeping judgements on people be they women or liberals or the President or whomever and whatever else is on your daily list of "Things I don't like so listen to meeeeeeee".
Sorry if you don't understand that people face tragedy in life. It must be difficult for you to live your life thinking the absolute worst of everyone as you demonstrate in post after post after post. It's noted that you complained about women and liberals but ignored feeling any sympathy or compassion for this woman and her grieving family.
